While Catherine, Princess of Wales, better known as Kate Middleton is away from the public eye amid her cancer treatment, it’s rumored that Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie could step up to help with royal engagements; and apparently, Kate might not be a big fan of this idea.
Apparently, Beatrice may be stepping up royal engagements amid Kate’s absence, but it’s alleged that Kate isn’t a fan of this idea due to Beatrice and Eugenie being so close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Royal expert Tom Quinn said via OK Magazine that, “For William and Kate an alliance between Harry and Meghan and Beatrice and Eugenie is a huge worry. They sense that Beatrice and Eugenie feel that, as virtual outcasts themselves, they have far more in common with Harry and Megan than with any other part of the family.”
He added, “The situation is made worse by the fact that the senior royals’ main asset – Kate herself — is effectively out of action while she continues her treatment for cancer.”

Now, this isn’t the first time Kate’s suspicions of the York sisters have hit the news. Exclusive sources previously told Radar Online in 2023 that Kate is allegedly uncomfortable with Eugenie and Beatrice’s close friendship with Harry and Meghan. “Kate will not tolerate their cousins being all cozy with William one minute, then sneaking off with Meghan and Harry the next,” they said. “It’s one thing making nice via WhatsApp from 6,000 miles away. But there’s a fear they’ll spill a lot more in person once Harry and Meghan inevitably push for the inside scoop.”
Beatrice and Eugenie have been very close with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which has caused quite a split between them and the British royal family. But even before that, Kate wasn’t on great footing with them.
Per Cosmopolitan, they’ve been feuding with the Wales family because of their father Prince Andrew losing his titles, so this feud has been going on, allegedly, for quite some time.
