In Ruth Langsford news, the Loose Women star reportedly feels “devastated” after she allegedly found messages between Eamonn Holmes and another woman on his laptop.
Recent reports claimed that Ruth felt “upset” over claims she was “ditching him because of his ongoing health issues”.
Eamonn has battled chronic hip, back and leg pain for some years. He has suffered falls and gone under the surgeon’s knife. However, Ruth has apparently told pals this isn’t why they’ve split.
A spokesperson for Ruth and Eamonn shared that the pair had split last month. Consequently, rumours have swirled surrounding why couple have gone their separate ways. Unfortunately for Ruth, one theory is Eamonn’s struggling health.
Ruth Langsford news
Eamonn Holmes has had his fair share of health struggles in recent years. Most recently, Eamonn has used walking aids due to his chronic, hip, back and leg pain, which have left him less mobile.
Since their split was announced, fans of the couple have speculated over the end of their marriage.
The veteran broadcasters, who share son Jack, have subsequently led varied lifestyles in recent years, with Eamonn being less mobile and “grumpy”. Ruth, meanwhile, enjoys staying active and walking their beloved dog, Maggie.
However, the claims that Ruth has left Eamonn due to these reasons have reportedly left the former This Morning host “deeply upset”.
In addition, The Sun on Sunday has claimed that Ruth discovered messages on Eamonn’s laptop from another woman. A source alleged: “Ruth was completely taken by surprise when she saw the messages.
“She had no idea what had been going on between them. She was devastated. Not only was she very upset but she was also angry.”
ED! has contacted reps for Eamonn for comment. A rep for Ruth declined to comment.
Recently, a separate source discussed Eamonn’s friendship with another woman.
“Ruth was hurt when she learned about Eamonn’s friendship with another woman but she is strong and she will be back soon with a smile on her face, putting her best foot forward, as she always does,” they claimed.
Eamonn and the woman apparently made contact through social media having been loosely connected by a mental health charity. The woman reportedly volunteers for a charity which Eamonn became involved with following the death of Ruth’s sister, Julia.
On the prospect of a reconciliation, the friend added there was “no chance whatsoever”.
Ruth’s rep declined to comment on these claims.
Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes latest
A spokesperson for the duo revealed last month: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
Despite their split, Ruth has been a great support to Eamonn as he continues his battle with chronic pain.
Ruth has previously told of Eamonn’s health struggle and remained positive whilst navigating his new normal.
Speaking to Woman’s Weekly, Ruth shared: “I don’t know how much Eamonn’s mobility will improve. We live in hope. He does the physio, but there might have to be some acceptance that this might never be 100% right.
“With any care situation – and there are millions of carers in this country – it isn’t always easy. It’s testing but we manage as a family.”
Ruth added: “I look at Eamonn, who’s had his health and back problems, and it makes you realise how important your health is.”
